  • Fluted minaret; Yivli Minaret, one of the symbols of Antalya, is a remarkable building with its historical and cultural significance. Yivli Minaret, located in the city of Antalya on the southern coast of Turkey, is a minaret from the Seljuk period. Its name comes from the grooved ornaments on it and this feature distinguishes it from other minarets.

  • The Yivli Minaret was built in the early 13th century during the reign of Seljuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat I. Architecturally, it has a very impressive structure. It draws attention with its brick and stone work, elegant calligraphy and decorations. Its height is about 38 meters and it has an important place in the historical texture of Antalya.

  • The Clock Tower was built in the 19th century during the Ottoman period. The structure, designed as a high tower, was built on an old tower from the ancient Roman period. It has taken its present form with the restoration work done by Italian masters. The Clock Tower was built using white stone and brick. One of its remarkable features is the clock at the top. The clock, which was designed in the traditional Ottoman style, is still functional despite having an old texture. Antalya Clock Tower, located on one of the busiest streets of Kaleici, offers an impressive appearance by adapting to the historical texture around it. Near the Clock Tower are tourist attractions such as historical bazaars, restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops.
